Prayer for blessing drinking water?

I’m looking to learn about any existing prayers out there to ask for a blessing for the water we are going to drink.

Has anyone such a prayer?

O Christ our God, bless the food and drink of Your servants, for You are holy, always now and ever, and forever. Amen.

or

Bless us, O Lord, and these Thy gifts, which we are about to receive from Thy bounty, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

You could also just ask a priest or deacon to bless it - there are cultures that routinely drink holy water.

If you can’t find a formal prayer you can just say, “Praise and thanks to you Lord, for this water, please bless it to our well being.” Amen
