I’m sorry for using selfishly disturbing a forum that is used for matters of much more grave importance. But alas, I’ve been spiritually weighed down by a sudden breakup.

I don’t know exactly when or what went wrong because we are no longer on speaking terms. But I’d assume she was feeling neglected while I handled some personal affairs back at home. I think this breakup troubles me most because she was a good, honest and intelligent catholic woman, that encouraged/challenged me to improve my relationship with my family, friends, and with Christ.
I’ve tried talking with her and explaining why I was distant ,but she been through a lot of emotional pain and wasn’t willing to listen. She now wants me to move on and I have no clear understanding of what God wants me to do.

Any prayers, thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I’m praying for you. May the Lord resolve your situation and get you back on speaking terms with your ex.

Dear Lord, Please take away all the pain and hurt in the hearts of this couple . Fill them with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless this husband and wife, so that they may never surrender to whatever challenges that come their way. Fill their hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one realize each other’s worth. Amen.
 
Lord, please take away the communication barriers between these two lovers so that they can freely communicate their thoughts and feelings to each other and thereby save their relationship. Amen.
