Prayer for my job/career

I would like prayer for a full-time job, and especially the sort of work that would lead to a fulfilling career not only for me, but those around me.

It’s been frustrating not even knowing what type of work I WANT to do, but I’m definitely open to the Holy Spirit’s leading here. My wife needs me to be the provider, and I’d like to fulfill that.

Prayers going out for you and your family. May I ask…what you mean in your sentence…‘my wife needs me to be the provider?’ Don’t mean to pry…I was just curious, is all.:o

She’s uncomfortable with being in that role.

I will keep you in my prayers. I noticed on your blog that you were an award-winning reporter. Is that something that you no longer find fulfilling?
 
May God’s plan and purpose for you and your family unfold for you and bring you peace and calm all your fears and anxieties. Your friends here are praying for you.

You got it. Way too many hours for too little pay. It was starting to drive my DW and I apart.

Please pray for her, too. Last night she told me just how much strain my lack of a f/t job was putting on her.

Wow. I never realised how demanding the news profession is.
