Prayer for my sister-in-law

My sister-in-law, Ana P., is having a hard time, she is getting divorced. He’s not being very nice about it. She constantly cries and is very depressed. She feels hopeless. They have 2 children. She’s not very religious but I told her I will be praying for her. If you are reading this post if you could pray for her as well.

I totally sympathize. My sister went through a messy and rancorous divorce, too. She cried day and night for months and lost about 100 lbs.

May the Lord give her comfort and aid in this time of great pain and suffering in her life and in the lives of her family. Amen.
 
This prayer and devotion to Saint Martha helped me in the past, namely the recovery of my brother from cancer, so I owe it to Martha to promote it.

’St. Martha, I resort to thy protection and aid and as a proof of my affection and faith I offer this light which I shall burn every Tuesday. Comfort me in all my difficulties and through the great favor thou didst enjoy when the Savior was lodged in thy house,. Intercede for my family that we may always hold God in our hearts, and that we may be provided for in all our necessities, I ask, St. Martha, to overcome all difficulties as thou didst overcome the dragon at thy feet.
