Prayer For Neighbor Who Died

Some of you may remember that back in August I spoke about my neighbor, a very lovely and devout Catholic woman, who was suffering from cancer and appeared to be on her last legs. She finally succumbed to her illness after a valiant fight. I only now found out she was a teacher for many years, beloved by all her students and fellow teachers. Please pray for the soul of this good woman.

May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Prayer to the Blessed Mother in a Time of Bereavement

O sweet mother Mary, you knew the sadness
of mourning those your heart loved most:
Jesus, your Son, and Joseph, your devoted spouse.
Please pray for all affected in this time of loss.
Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
 
May she be at peace in the arms of the Lord…
