Prayer for Social Media Users

I am hoping to get some support in prayers for people who use Social Media, including this Website: Catholic Answers Forum.

I understand all of us fall short of the Glory of God (Rom 2:23), but we shouldn’t hide behind this verse to continue in sin; we need to pray for the Grace “to let go and let God.” There is a certain test or, perhaps, temptation to many evils with websites and, as you know, social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Tic Tok, Twitter and the like). We all ought to pray that we be good sons and daughters of God Most High (and watch our children’s use of these as well) and not slander, be calumnious, be proud/vain, be wrathful, be forgetful or not vigilant, or seek human praise or fall into lustful sins through our eyes. These are just a few things that I notice can be something easy to fall in when using social websites.

St. Pio Prayer of Trust and Confidence

O Lord, we ask for a boundless confidence and trust in Your divine mercy, and the courage to accept the crosses and sufferings which bring immense goodness to our souls and that of Your Church.

Help us to love You with a pure and contrite heart, and to humble ourselves beneath Your cross, as we climb the mountain of holiness, carrying our cross that leads to heavenly glory.

May we receive You with great faith and love in Holy Communion, and allow You to act in us, as You desire, for Your greater glory.

O Jesus, most adorable heart and eternal fountain of Divine Love, may our prayer find favor before the Divine Majesty of Your Heavenly Father.

I pray that the Lord protects us from all of the evil in social media, (not to say that all of it is evil, but some of it is). I pray that He helps us guard ourselves from lashing out in malice, especially toward those who are not saved. May He make us into the men/women that He wants us to be. Amen.
