Prayer for the marriage of my parents

I’m asking if you can pray with me for the marriage of my dear parents who are married for 22 years now and they have been arguing alot but now I think my mom wants a divorce and I just can’t imagine them splitting I’m just asking that they may have peace and love for each other and that the problems that my father is facing mostly drinking might stop

Ruler of the universe. You have given us Your Son as Your Leader,
and have made us temples of Your Holy Spirit. Fill this family with Your light and peace. Have mercy on all who suffer, and bring us to everlasting joy with You.

I pray that the Lord breaks down the walls that have divided them, especially your dad’s drinking. May the Lord bring them closer together than they’ve ever been. Amen.
