I had a brief encounter with a homeless lady today. I gave her some money because I was unable to leave my work to buy her food and there wasn’t a shelter anywhere near. I just wanted to offer my prayers for her and for all those who are in need. Whether it be homelessness or any other type of poverty. I just ask that you all join me in praying for those in need.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Not only will I pray for the homless and the needy, my wife and I have decided a few days ago to live simply so we can provide for such ones. Prayers on the way.:gopray:

Saint Benedict Joseph Labre, you gave up honor, money and home for love of Jesus. Help us to set our hearts on Jesus and not on the things of this world. You lived in obscurity among the poor in the streets. Enable us to see Jesus in our poor brothers and sisters and not judge by appearances. Make us realize that in helping them we are helping Jesus. Show us how to befriend them and not pass them by.

Please lord, care for for all of us as you do for the lilies of the fields. Give all of us our daily bread, and help all prodigals return home to you. Help us each to see you in the least of our brothers, and please show me how, and give me the courage, to help and heal your children.
