Prayer for those overdosing on drugs of all varieties

This prayer is for those overdosing on drugs of various kinds. Those who are overdosing on street drugs, that they will find additional help from professionals and that drug users around them know how to revive them. Also, those prescribed medications that do not allow them to function for a satisfying daily life. May the doctors locate better drugs in better doses so they will improve daily.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (those overdosing on drugs of all varieties). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into those overdosing on drugs of all varieties’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Praying …

You expired, O Jesus,
but the source of life gushed forth for souls
and an ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world.
O Fount of Life,
unfathomable Divine Mercy,
envelop the whole world
and empty Yourself out upon us.
O Blood and Water,
which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus
as a fount of mercy for us,
I trust in You.

Prayer for Overcoming Addiction

My Heavenly Father,
You are great and holy. I am weak and needy. I need your strength, Lord, for mine is gone. Pour your healing oil over me. Let it flow from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. As my body detoxifies, may the anointing of Jesus cover and protect me. Lead me into a small activity that will keep me busy helping someone else, and take my mind off of myself. As I do for others in your name, Lord, blanket me with your healing. I ask this with a penitent heart. I thank you, my Heavenly Father. I ask this in your Son’s holy name, Jesus, amen.
