I am nervous, I feel so uplifted yet as if it is Christmas morning and I have just come down the stairs to see the presents and the stockings for the first time.

Tomorrow I have a meeting with the Vocations Director at Villanova University (Augustinians). Can you guys pray for me that my foot can stay out of my mouth for the length of the meeting please? I am really excited! 😃

Thank you!!!

You got it–prayers going up now from me, not too far from Villanova myself!

Also, try this one (I always found it calming/soothing when I needed to clear my head & settle nerves):

Holy Spirit, soul of my soul,
Guide me,
Strengthen me,
Console me.
Help me to do your will. Amen!

I will pray for you. But I hope you are in the prayers of all Catholics when they pray for strong vocations to the priesthood. God Bless.Titus

Absolutely. I pray daily for vocations, so I’ll be happy to think of you specifically next time I do so - I’ll give you your own decade of the Rosary if you like 😃

thank you all! just 13 hours and 14 minutes left!!!

StaphanieC where around Villanova are you from? Did you attend a Catholic high school around here?

It went really well. Fr. McBurney gave me a lot of information to look over and pray about. A lot of Scripture to look through and pray with about my vocational call. Since I still have two years for my undergrad degree to be done there isn’t a rush on anything. So we are continuing our talks about things and prayer to see where it goes.

Thank you everyone for the prayer! It was definitely felt!

I will pray for you my friend…Godspeed

That’s great, Jeepmeade. I was thinking of you when I got my Catholic Standard & Times & it was the special on Vocations. Did you know that the Augustinians are the oldest order in the Archdiocese? (Or, they’ve been in the archdiocese the longest?)

I’ve only been in PA for the last 4 years; didn’t grow up here or go to school here.

God bless your discernment!
