Hello- Please say a prayer for my fiancée and I. In 1 week we will be celebrating our holy matrimony. It is an exciting time in our lives for sure, but lately it has also carried with it much stress (financially, job stress, worrying about future, etc.). I got to the point where I was so stressed a few days ago I had a fall in purity. Please pray for us in this final week, for all couples preparing for marriage, for all those that may be in a difficult marriage…pray for holiness in all of our lives, that we can carry out this vocation with holiness. Thank you.

I pray for these intentions – especially those that apply directly to you.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Lord, by the light of the Holy Spirit You have taught the hearts of your faithful. In the same Spirit help this new couple to relish what is right and always rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ, our Lord. Amen

:signofcross:

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

†

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

†

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!~ May God bless you with a Christ Centered and fulfilling marriage. May God help alleviate the sress in your life and help you abstain from instances of impurity. I join you in prayers for all couples preparing for marriage and in difficult marriages that holiness may be a virtue in their lives and they grow together in Christ.

Mary.

Congatulations!!!

Remember, Most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known,
that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help,or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided, inspired by this confidence,
I commit Gratefulleper’s intention unto thee,
oh virgin of virgins, our Mother,
to thee do we fly, before thee we pray
sinful and sorrowfully,
oh Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not our petitions,
but in thy mercy, hear and answer us,Amen.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.

Prayer for an Engaged Couple

May our love increasingly be a sign of Christ’s love for the Church.
Let our daily nurturing of our relationship use the Mass as a model.

Let us each day humbly acknowledge our faults and ask for forgiveness for any hurts we have caused the other.
May we take any opportunity for praising and affirming the talents and efforts of the other.
May we offer our time, understanding, and active, empathetic listening
even when we judge that we have heard before what we are hearing now.
May we pray with and for each other in whatever ways we can.

May we try to build a solid foundation
of openness and trust based upon similar values.

May we celebrate our coming vows
and put the stress on our relationship building,
not on the wedding day details that will soon pale in importance.

May we treat each other with a sacred trust that seeks to build up.
Help us believe that God sends us forth as a couple
to become an ever clearer channel of his love.
Don’t let us neglect to give each other a kiss of peace often!
May we go in peace to love and serve the Lord.
Amen.

The Big day is coming! Do your best to watch what you eat or drink!
It DOES affect your moods! If you find yourself freaking out, I would
suggest a fast of a meal or two to get settled down… Otherwise
enjoy your days of freedom.

Our Father, who is in heaven,
Your name be held holy,
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses as
we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
