Please pray for the soul of my brother’s former boyfriend Vinny. I just learned he committed suicide. (However you feel about homosexuality, please pray for this young man’s soul.)
 
Sorry, that parenthetical remark was probably not necessary in this forum. I didn’t mean to cast aspersions on anyone here. I know you aren’t judgmental like that and that you will pray for Vinny’s soul.

God, lover of souls, You hold dear what You have made and spare all things, for they are Yours. Look gently upon Your servant Vinny, and by the Blood of the Cross forgive his sins and failings. Remember the faith of those who mourn and satisfy their longing for that day when all will be made new again in Christ, our risen Lord, who lives and reigns with You forever and ever. Amen.

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to heaven, especially those like Vinny most in need of Thy Grace!

Lord may Vinny find peace in your arms of loving embrace. Give comfort and care to those who loved him and make them courageous in this time of sorrow.Amen.
