Prayer in tongues

I know there are some threads about this subject already and my opinion about it is that only anointed ones who can speak/prayer in tongues.As I used to attend pentecostal/non catholic/evangelical communities to sing and praise our Lord Jesus they used to sing/pray in tongues and everybody looked so absorbed then weeping while singing I felt my heart burning and emotionally overwhelmed by it and started to weep as well.Out of curiousity I asked one if they did speak in tongues and especially it happened while they’re all overwhelmed by so called the Holy Spirit and she said no they didn’t speak in tongues…when they’re overwhelmed emotionally by singing and praising the Lord.She cried out alleluia along this emotional moment.So if she cried out alleluia and the other cried out gloria in excelcis deo either in latin or your own language so hundreds cried out different words of praises you’d hear that everybody pray/speak in tongues.Amazing and that weeping/emotional moment was powerful.But I experienced the same powerful moments while I attended catholic mass that my heart felt burning and I wept and I still experience them.I usually attend the latin mass and how beautiful/powerful it is!I used to be a lukewarm catholic and mess with it…with God’s merci and love I’ll be changed totally and I know I’ve changed.Love our Lord Jesus with your heart,mind,soul,strength forever and ever.Pray also to the saints and your guardian angel and pray the rosary everyday.

*Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be uninformed. You know that when you were heathen, you were led astray to dumb idols, however you may have been moved.
Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking by the Spirit of God ever says “Jesus be cursed!” and no one can say “Jesus is Lord” except by the Holy Spirit.

Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of working, but it is the same God who inspires them all in every one. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. To one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

All these are inspired by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills. For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body – Jews or Greeks, slaves or free – and all were made to drink of one Spirit. *

Galatians 5:19-23

The Gifts of the Spirit are given for the building up of the Body of Christ, the Edification of the Faithful and the Glory of God.

I would love nothing more to see the Holy Spirit poured out on the Body of Christ and Catholics on fire as the Early Christians were. Anyone who had any questions about the transformative power of the Gospel would have them answered.
