Praying for you. Remember that Our Lord knows what’s best for you, and if this man is unable to wait until marriage, then you are better off without him.

Try praying to Jesus.

And your BF is doing what many dudes do; they want to get physical. You need to explain to him that you aren’t going to do this outside of marriage. If he isn’t willing to wait, you have your answer.

Edit: I felt it important to emphasize that ALL straight men with healthy bodies feel strong urges for this. Some will say ANYTHING to get it. If you give in, it won’t just hurt you, it’ll also hurt him too.

Jesus has a dude for you that feels the same way that you feel. If this guy doesn’t feel the same, then he’s not the one Jesus has for you.

Also remember that you won’t change him; he’ll change you.

You know what a man is saying to you when he wants to have sex with you, but does not want to marry you? “I want to use your body for my own gratification, but I don’t want you. I don’t want all of you.” and you can’t get around that reality. He’ll tell you anything that he thinks you want to hear to get you to a point in which you’re willing to give him your body. Frankly, I hope you break up with him because he sounds like a loser, but I will pray for a healthy relationship since that’s what you requested of me.

I pray that God works in this man’s heart and purifies it. May the Lord give you strength and courage to fight against the demon of lust and to pursue a Christ-conscious life. Amen.
