Prayer needed tonight January 19

****please, friends, pray with me. today i said something to a friend that was hurtful and entirely unhelpful. it wasn’t false and it wasn’t cruel, but it was completely irrelevant and badly timed and she’s hurt and so so angry. she told me she thinks she’s better off without me in her life right now. i humbly asked her forgiveness, took full responsibility for speaking out of turn. she was so angy and hardly agreed to consider my request. she’s in such a bad time right now. i really added insult to injury. i’m worried that all the frustration in her life right now, to which i added uselessly, doesn’t lead to destructive decissions. please pray that she calls me and accepts my sincere ammends.

Remember, O most sweet Jesus, that no one who has had recourse to Thy Sacred Heart, implored its help, or sought its mercy was ever abandoned. Encouraged with confidence, O tenderest of hearts, we present ourselves before Thee, crushed beneath the weight of our sins. In our misery, O Sacred Heart of Jesus, despise not our simple prayers, but mercifully grant our requests. Amen.

aw, monica–I have always enjoyed your posts/threads on here–and know you to be a good hearted person, from what I can see. Perhaps, your friend is just not in a state of mind right now to accept where you were coming from–so my prayers are for her to see that you meant well, and to accept your sincere apology. ((hugs)) to you!

God we ask you to surround Monica’s friend with angels and send her protection. Keep her safe. Help her to understand and realize that Monica loves her. Help her to know and feel this in her heart. May she come to forgive Monica so that they will be friends again. Be with Monica and lift her up out of despair and worry. Send your Holy Spirit to comfort Monica and her friend with waves of love as big as the ocean. We ask and believe in Jesus Name. Amen. As we have believed so may it be done.
