Prayer of thanks for the Divine Mercy

Today is the feast day of St. Faustina, the “secretary” of the Divine Mercy message. I just wanted to offer these prayers:

Lord Jesus, thank you for your wonderful, unending Divine Mercy. Thank you that we can draw near to you through devotion to your Divine Mercy, and thank you for sending St. Faustina as such a wonderful example of obedience, mercy, and love for us to follow. In your holy name, Amen.

St. Faustina, today, on your feast day, help us remember to be merciful and joyful in our Lord Jesus, just as you were. Please intercede on our behalf that we may draw nearer to Jesus and always be mindful our duty to share His Divine Mercy with everyone we can. Amen.

For the sake of his sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world!
 
For the sake of HIS sorrowful passion,have MERCY on us and on the whole world.
 
‘Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent,
but with great confidence submit ourselves
to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.’

For the sake of Your Sorrowful Passion, Lord, please have mercy on us and on the whole world, especially those most in need of Your Mercy.
St. Faustina we thank you for your life of response to Grace which has been a light in the darkness - encouragement, hope and strength - to us and so very many. Please pray for us.

“He will give light to those in darkness
And those who dwell in the shadow of death”
