Good evening friends, let me start off with a quick backstory.

My life before college was not the best. I was an absolute loner in high-school. I was depressed, didn’t have any friends, I was bullied, and had major social anxiety. I wasn’t involved in anything and the only thing I did in my free time was either make music or be forced to work as a dishwasher at my family’s restaurant. I had awful self-esteem, I would mentally attack myself just about every day.

I also had an IEP so basically someone held and gave me free grades since 5th grade. Because of this IEP I was able to turn in homework whenever I wanted and I was able to redo any test no matter how bad the grade was. I also had extended time on tests and quizzes and help was available whenever I wanted it. I started to take advantage of this because I did not need it and just stopped caring, therefore, I never was really able to practice responsibility.

Then college came around. I somehow miraculously got accepted to a good university and made friends via an online group-chat for the freshman class. I consider college a blessing. My life completely changed I now have the best circle of friends that love and care about me, I’ve gained confidence, I’ve gained social skills, and I even have a beautiful girl in my life.

However, because of my happiness and never having anyone in my life before, I went off the deep-end and I’ve sinned countless times. Last semester, I went out and partied just about every weekend consuming unhealthy amounts of alcohol and smoking weed. It resulted in me failing my math class twice, my spreadsheet class, and ending up with an overall GPA of 1.6. This was a wake-up call. I am now on academic probation this semester I need to get an overall GPA of 2.0 to continue on to sophomore year and somehow I haven’t learned. I just found out that I’ve failed my math class a third time. If I were to fail out of college, I would be absolutely devastated. I wouldn’t know what to do with my life. I would lose so many connections. So many memories so many opportunities.

I ask of anyone to pray for me because I am lost and don’t know what to do.

Thank you.

Prayer to St. Thérèse for Students

God, our Father and Creator through the intercession
of St. Thérèse, we ask for insight and wisdom to see
the signs of Your Love in the people and in the events
of our lives. May we discern what we have to do as
students and give us the strength to do it. Grant us
success in our work and examinations. Help us
to believe in Your Great Love for each one of us, so
that we may live in truth and radiate Your Love in our
lives. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. 🙏

Dear Friends in Christ, I remind you of our Forum policy:

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Praying for you. What kind of environment will bring you closer to God? Away from God? Consider that your relationship with God is far more important than anything else.

"Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.” (Joel 2:12)

Loving God please guide and bless this soul along the path of goodness and love, in proper use of talents and gifts, with relationships that are in accordance with Your Holy will.
