Prayer request for a dermatology procedure tomorrow

Tomorrow morning, Monday 8/12, I am having a procedure done to remove a small growth under my
right eyelid. It is a very delicate area very close to my
eye so I am worrying about how they will do a local
anesthetic among other concerns.

Asking for prayer that the procedure goes smoothly and the doctor’s hands are steady.

UPDATE!

The procedure is over. It only took 10 minutes. No band-aid, no stitches. The doctor said there might be
some bruising. The local injection was a little painful
and definitely made my eyelid feel weird, but I didn’t
feel a thing during the procedure.

He said cysts around the eyelid are very common. I had this for around 15 years. I am so happy to look in the mirror now and it is gone.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (7 sorrows). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into 7 sorrows’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Thank you all for your prayers. My eye is black and blue tonight, but the doctor said there would be bruising.

The procedure was successful. It was a sebaceous cyst, so non-cancerous.
