Prayer Request for a family member + safe travel

Two-part prayer request:

I found out today that my cousin, who is overseas in the military, had a heart aneurysm and is in really bad shape. My cousin, his mother (my aunt) and family can really use any prayer request they can get.

While this is happening, I am away from my family on a business trip to India until April 2nd. I’d like to ask for your prayers for safe travels.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal tigerprowl’s cousin. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into tigerprowl’s cousin’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Merciful God,
we remember before you all who are sick this day.
Give them courage to live with their disease.
Help them to face and overcome their fears.
Be with them when they are alone or rejected.
Comfort them when they are discouraged.
And touch them with your healing Spirit
that they may find and possess eternal life,
now and forever.

O God, Who did cause the children of Israel
to traverse the Red Sea dryshod;
Thou Who did point out by a star to the Magi
the road that led them to Thee;
grant us we beseech Thee,
a prosperous journey and propitious weather;
so that, under the guidance of Thy holy angels
we may safely reach that journey’s end,
and later the haven of eternal salvation.

Hear, O Lord,
the prayers of Thy servants.
Bless their journeyings.
Thou Who art everywhere present,
shower everywhere upon them the effects of Thy mercy;
so that, insured by Thy protection against all dangers,
they may return to offer Thee their thanksgiving.
Through Christ our Lord.
