Prayer request for buying a new home

Hi everyone–I know that Jesus told His followers (and tells us through the Holy Spirit)…‘be not afraid,’ and I’m trying not to stress, but we signed a one year lease when we relocated to Florida last year, and it’s up next month–end of May. (we wanted to rent before buying) We are hoping that we can get a good interest rate, etc…to buy a home–there are some awesome deals with the home situation taking a turn, down in Florida. I feel sad that so many lost their homes though–it seems so surreal.😦 But, we are hopeful that we can buy a new home in our area, at a decent interest rate–that everything just works out in time…etc…so, would you mind keeping my family and me in your prayers this week? We find out about the specifics, at the end of this week. I’ll keep you all posted. Please also say a prayer for me to not worry, and to surrender my worrisome thoughts to God.:o Thank you–you are all such blessings.

lol–thank you for your prayers. i’m in tampa bay area…there are a lot of amazing deals out there…

I am praying for you to be able to get the home you desire. Don’t forget to call upon St. Joseph!

I am struggling with a similar issue. We are doing a lease to own. I’ve been petrified our credit may not be good enough to get a loan when the lease is up (although it probably will or we may be able to do another lease until then if we need to). I know what you mean about those worrisome thoughts! I love this house and want to stay here.

I will offer prayers for you and your family so you can purchase a house. My mom is trying to sell a house here in Ohio. I would appreciate prayers so she can sell her house. She already has another house, but she would like to sell her old one. It has been on sale over about 16 months, and my dad passed away 14 months ago.

I will keep you in my prayers as well! Whatever God’s will is, that will be best…although, it would be nice to not have to relocate to another rental–I just want to be able to have this done quickly…but, it’s in His hands. My dh and I have decent credit, but the whole process of buying a home is so…intrusive, it seems. Like what’s next–they need to know my blood type? ha Giving so much info about our finances, etc to a complete stranger…granted this mortgage broker comes as a referral from a family member, so that’s better than going in cold–but still. I don’t know him, you know? I wish you the best of luck! I will keep your mom in my prayers, too, lak!
