Prayer request for friend's son's suicide attempts

My friend’s son has attempted suicide several times and will no longer communicate with his mother. He is hospitalized now but the system cannot keep him there against his will. Plus Canada now has legalized suicide laws.

I humbly ask for you prayer warriors to pray for him. I know from experience how powerful your prayers are.

Jesus, have mercy on him and his family.

Most Loving God:
Hear our prayers for suicidal people, especially
the man mentioned in this attention.

Shield him from unkind, judgmental people.
Help him cling to life as he awaits the treatment
that will lift him out of his/her misery.

Grant his family and friends the graces
they need to help this troubled soul and
to strengthen themselves.

Praying for your friend’s son and his parent (s).

Heavenly Father,
You are intimately aware of the struggle he is experiencing - the pain and the despair.

You know the desire of his heart and his parent’s heart to be healed of this depression and anxiety.

I ask now for Your healing touch.
I know that You are able and that just like in Bible times, You can release him from this depression and situation. I thank you in advance for answering my prayers. In Jesus’ name I pray,

Dear Lord be his protector and defender in this time of trouble. Surround him with the Holy Angels, so that he may emerge from every danger in the fullness of health and well being. Guide his life journey, so he will always walk safely together with you, in God’s protection and friendship.
