Would someone please be willing to pray that mother will be ok.
She is elderly and slipped and fell last night and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance.
She is there now and we have visited but we have received no information as it is a Friday night and there’s no doctors there now and nurse can’t/won’t give any information.
I would really appreciate your prayers that my mum will be ok and also that the hospital staff will be kind to her and also prayers for my father and whole family.
My mother is a very good and loving mum.

Thankyou very much

Father, please bless this wonderful mother and allow for a full recovery. May she be touched by the holy spirit and healed to walk again strong in Christ. In your name, Jesus amen!

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence, we fly unto thee, O Virgin of Virgins my Mother;
to thee do we come; before thee do we stand, sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not our petitions,
but in thy mercy hear and answer us. Amen

Said a Hail Mary just now for your mom.

Dear Jesus, in Your name please help the OP’s mom get well soon and ease her family’s mind. Thank you in advance.

Prayed for your intentions in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

May God, the greatest physician of all, heal your mother and bring comfort to your family as you await news of her condition.

Praying for your intentions

Philippians 4:6-7 : Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Rozellelily). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Rozellelily’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Hail Mary
Full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb,
Jesus
Holy Mary
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death, Amen

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. x10

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Thankyou very much to everyone for your prayers.
My mother was discharged from the hospital and is currently ‘ok’ ,Thank God.
At the same time I find it had to feel relieved or “relax” because I’m concerned that anytime something could happen again and I’ll get another call.

I don’t want to lose my mum.She is very kind, caring and generous, they both are, and I am blessed to still have them with me.
Unfortunately she’s elderly (and overweight) and can be dismissive about health concerns and I don’t think would even recognize signs such as fever or woozinesss etc…
She was raised in poor country region in Bosnia before migrating to Australia and doesn’t really understand about health matters.
E.g:she thinks that her having high blood pressure means she has strong blood!
If she proudly declares she has strong blood and we (daughters) try to tell her that’s not what it means she will just dismissively laugh like we don’t know what we are on about 😩

The doctor at the hospital suggested a community nurse come regularly to my parents house to change my mothers leg bandage (cellulitis) but my mother said “no way” and wouldn’t allow it concerned to let a stranger into the home, they might steal something etc…

Does anyone have any suggestions how I can talk to my mother about health issues without coming across I’m “preaching to an elder”?

Also, for my own worry, the Bible states to pray and not have anxieties but is this possible because doesn’t God only help those who are receptive/who helps themselves?
E.g.:if I pray to God for my mama to lose weight but she is resistant does prayer then become futile?

Thanks
