Please say a prayer for a family friend who took his own life this evening in the midst of a messy divorce.

And if you or someone you know is experiencing suicidal thoughts, please reach out for help.

Praying for this person and will pray more for them tomorrow.

May the merciful Jesus come to help them into heaven. In His name I humbly pray. Amen.

(I actually joined this forum a few years ago to post a prayer intention for my friend who had just committed suicide by throwing himself into the Niagara River while drunk and angry at his family member. )
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.
