Prayer request for upcoming medical tests

I have been having some serious medical issues since June 22nd and will be undergoing several medical tests over the next few weeks.

Requesting prayer to lessen my anxiety over the possible outcome of the tests
and to trust in God.
 
Eternal, Holy God,
I come to You burdened with worries,
fears, doubts and troubles.
Calm and quiet me with peace of mind.
Empty me of the anxiety that disturbs me,
of the concerns that weary my spirit,
and weight heavy on my heart.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Prayer for the Apprehensive Patient

Christ said to His loved ones: I am with you, fear not, be not anxious. May I, then, be confident that in the trials and crosses of my life that You, O Lord, will be my constant companion. Whenever I cannot stand, You will carry me lovingly in Your arms.

May I have no fear of what may happen tomorrow. For the same Eternal Father Who cares for me today will take care of me tomorrow and everyday of my life. You, O Lord, will either shield me from suffering or give me strength to bear it patiently. May I be at peace, then and put aside all useless thoughts, anxieties, and worries.

I am so sorry you are carrying this burden 7_. Find a picture where Jesus is looking you straight in the eyes and know He is saying to you, “Focus on Me, not on the storm”. Be at peace, you are in God’s hands.

Blessed Mother, please intercede for us.
Hold the sorrowful-
Mother and love the weary, abused, neglected
or forgotten among us-
Give your aid to all needing help or healing-
Assist those who are sick, in pain or suffering-
Be with those needing peace-
Console the lonely or brokenhearted-
Comfort the lost, hopeless or fearful-
Guard the unborn-
Pray for those who are dying or who have died-
Touch those who do not yet see truth or have hardened hearts-
Help us be brave enough to let our hurt and anger go-
Show us the way to do the right thing-
Protect those who are in danger, and
Guide us from every evil.
May all who keep your sacred commemoration
experience the might of your assistance.

Thank you all for your prayers. My initial consultation with the GI is next Wednesday. I pray she is a good doctor.

Today I got the lab test results back and, thankfully, the areas I was concerned
about were in the normal range. Thanks be to God!

The other 2 tests are procedures I will have to have scheduled after I speak with
the doctor Wednesday.

Of course, I will be anxious until those procedures are over and I have the
results, but I am relieved the blood tests were normal.
 
Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments, we might not despair nor become despondent,
but with great confidence, submit ourselves to your holy will,
which is love and Mercy itself.

I have 2 procedures scheduled for September 1st.

Next week I have to do more lab tests and, hopefully, will have the results of those by the end of the week.
