Prayer request: my vocation

[Episcopalian]

I’m not sure of I indexed this properly, but I’m currently speaking with my parish rector to hopefully begin the formal Dioscesan discernment process.

I spoke with him over the phone already about it, and submitted a reflection essay to him as well.

It’s for the Episcopalian priesthood, but it’s just as thorough of a process of the Catholic priesthood. I’m hoping he finds me in the proper mindset, life position, and devoutness, and whatever else he’s searching for in our communications thus far.

It’s the veeeeery first step, since I need to get him on my side, then the parish vestry, and then the Dioscese, before enrolling into seminary. This site will be long gone before then, unfortunately, but I wanted to put the prayer request out there in the world now, while I can!

Dearest Jesus, please guide @Episcopalian Brian towards his path to priesthood. Let him dedicate his heart to You wholeheartedly and for Your people. Help him to take this vocation to serve You and to be a way of guiding Your children unto You. Please permit him to live a life of priesthood. Take him away from temptation and spiritual strugglea as well. Amen!
