My best friend’s Family is still on the rocks… he is really sick badly. I ask for prayers for him and his wife and their 3 children. One of which I’m God father of.

Dear Lord, our Shepherd, and redeemer. This family is losing their way Lord. Come to them, as they wander aimlessly, and with your love and mercy, guide them back with you. Pour out your love for them Lord, that their hearts be filled, and their faith renewed. Call out to them Lord, let them hear your voice, and feel your presence in their lives, so that they may reunite as a family, in your Holy name.

O Mother of God, our Patroness,
Continue to protect this small family, our congregation
with your Holy Omophorion and under Your holy protection we shall not perish,
even if all hell is against us.
Amen.

    Update for my best friend and his Family:

   He has been bleeding and the test results are coming probably after Easter.  It doesn't look good.   

  Well,  your prayers have held him up.  He was injured and has terrible damage to his spine.  Yet he continues to be Mr. Mom for the kids.  And does a darn good job.  He is depressed for he has been, is and will be in Love with his wife of 34 years. And  he has always been Faithful to his marriage. 

   I know that he is too strong to commit suicide. He will bear his cross in silence til the end.  Oh, don't get me wrong he has broken down and had arguments  for he is just a man; but an extraordinary man.   I pray the Family wakes up before its too late for   I know they just don't seem to see what is happenning. 

  Your prayers have given him much courage and he is preparing himself spiritually if this illness proves fatal.  His greatest worry  is his youngest daughter, my God daughter, who just turned 10.   He spends a lot of time with her.  She is afraid poor child.  She is a very intelligent child who is very talented. 

   He appreciates all your prayers and I also do too.
 
Lord, watch over bluespicker’s friend, and his family. Grant them courage and strength Lord, to bear this cross, united in faith, hope and love. Be it your will Lord, bring healing to this father’s body, and to all of their hearts. With your tender love and mercy, bring comfort to them, his young daughter especially Lord, she needs you with her, easing her fears throughout each day. May your divine mercy restore peace in this household Lord, that this family will be united in body and soul, to sing praise to you Lord, Jesus Christ!

    My best friend who is like a Big Brother to me  and the one who has set me straight on the Path many times has fallen ill. There is a blockage in his intestines and he goes for further tests next week. 

  Our prayers have helped though as he still is Head of the Family  but the stress of all this is taking its toils.. Yet  his eys are set on the Lord and he firmly believes the Lord will deliver him and his Family from all this turmoil..  

  He appreciates all of your prayers and is praying for all of you also. He  has that Holy Spirit Courage.  His sister is sick with MS and  he hasn't told his father everything because he is worried about his Dad.    I  thank you for your prayers.

The Holy Family will watch over them and Jesus’ earthly parents will intercede to their Son with their prayers as well.
