Currently I live in Colorado (due to a relocation for my job) and my wife (who is pregnant with our 4th child) is in Missouri taking care of our 3 kids.

I know that this is difficult on her, things seem to happen when I am away, sickness, car trouble, etc. I have one opportunity to move back home, a possible job opportunity, but am still waiting to hear from the company. They are considering me for this job and if they extend an offer and I accept, I will be back home with my family.

Thank you for your prayers! I will include you in mine if you let me know your situation.

In Christ!

Mirror Mirror, I’m praying for you. That sounds really tough.

Strike one! The position I was hoping for is a no go, but I continue to pray for God’s will and a quick return to my family.

This is tough on my wife and on my children. Please keep them in your prayers.

We will return the prayers.

I will pray for your very difficult situation. I know how difficult it is when families are separated due to work situations and will remember your family in my intentions at Eucharistic adoration on Thursday.

God bless you and your family.

:gopray2: for you.

That sure is a shame, MM. I know exactly how you feel. I had an interview several months ago and really felt like all the “signs” were there telling me that was the right one, and thought for sure I’d get it. I guess God had and still has other plans. Hopefully the wait will be shorter for you.

Mirror Mirror, I keep praying for you. Have you also thought about getting your family to where you are working?

Still praying for you. Often these things do work out for the best, but sometimes it takes a while to see that. I am hoping that you and your wife can just hang in there, and this trial won’t last too long.

Thanks to all who have offered up prayers for my family and for myself. I will be sure to include all of you in mine at Adoration today. The opportunity that I thought would not work out is still now “up in the air.” To answer a few of the questions that have come up…

I have thought about having the family out here, but due to the housing market right now, our home is not selling thereby not allowing us to have them move out here.
what kind of work do you do?
I am in the accounting/finance field.

I will be sure to pray for you as well. I know that it is difficult right now, but God will provide. It has given me time to go to adoration 2 or 3 times a week.

Thanks for the prayers, I will pass along this to my wife, she will be happy to know that there are prayers for her during this trying time.
