Prayer that I find my lost cat and resolve a lawsuit against me

Dear Lord,

Friday was agony. I lost Leah, my little kitty, when she ran out of my apartment. I am single and alone and she is all i have here. Please can you help return her to me as i feel very alone and empty without her.

Father, i have also been served papers for a lawsuit with my downstairs neighbours over an argument we had last year. While i admit to what i said, i feel she provoked me. Lord, please don’t let these people prevail. Please help me to find a good lawyer and for all of this to be over. Father this is killing me inside as i have noone to turn to here for support and help and i am suffering greatly with the loneliness.

Please Brothers and Sisters, pray for me who am so broken, empty, and alone. Thank you, Amen.

Hey everyone, some good news. I found Puss! She was trapped in a cupboard in the kitchen behind some pots and pans and, because of her little voice, couldn’t mew loud enough to be heard when the solid wood doors closed.

I tell you it was the strangest thing. Having not slept the entire Friday/Saturday, i went to Mass dejected. There, Father even told me to go away when i went to him for some consolation. Instead of leaving even more depressed and lonely, i went to light a candle and asked for Jesus’s help in earnest.

After Mass, i went home and i felt exhausted. So, i took a nap. After 35 minutes, i woke up and had this overwhelming urge to go call for kitty from my balcony. After calling out and hearing no response, i went back inside more dejected than ever. Just then, as i was making some dinner, i heard a very distinct, but weak, meow. I opened all the cupboards and lo-and-behold, there she was. She came running out all happy into my arms. I tell you i wept like a baby.

Thank you all again for your help, and thanks to St Anthony, Jude, and Francis for all their intercessions.

Please guys, continue to pray for me as i start legal consultations this week and i feel like crap. I’ll continue you to update you all on this, and will keep saying the St Jude Novena for the duration of this all.
 
Praying that you find your feline friend and praying for a good outcome with
the lawsuit with your neighbors.
 
Thank you Jesus, Mary and Joseph, St Francis, St Jude, St Anthony and all, for helping the OP find their precious cat before she suffered any ill effects!

(Same thing happened to me a couple years ago - one of my cats vanished just before I was about to leave on a trip and after I searched the neighborhood for hours, I decided to delay my trip. Good thing I did because he had crawled into a drawer I rarely open and gotten stuck when I shut the drawer! God guided me to open that drawer again to put something away and there was my cat. I think he was so shocked he didn’t make a sound for the several hours he was mashed in there.)

I reckon Tis_Bear that cats have this unmistakable knack for getting themselves into places they often can’t get out of. Anyway, i’m glad you found your puss cat too 🙂

An update. Today i met my lawyer for the first time, well, not in person because of this coronavirus thing. She basically told me to try settle out of court which may involve me giving a public apology and forking out lots of money.

While this is the expedient thing to do, to me, it is morally wrong. I feel that my neighbours antagonized me into saying things that i now regret. The problem is, my lawyer said, the courts here rarely see it like that. I would have to be humiliated by these people who continue to harass me (last night the guy called my electrician claiming that something was wrong with my apartment. I suspect he was trying to get the guy to come out on a Sunday to try get me a weekend call-out charge).

The other option is to stand and fight this case which may take years and which will then end up costing big $$$ and likely see me lose in any case, despite my defense.

I feel miserable and dejected right now. If i have to concede, i’ll have to sell my apartment and that will be an even bigger humiliation.

Please guys, can you pray that Jesus shows me the right path to take and that he guides me through this miserable and dark time. Thank you all as always.
 
Hey guys, i need your prayers again.

My downstairs neighbours have now taken to petty harassment of me. Calling plumbers and electricians claiming that my apartment has leaks and wiring issues all to try and get under my skin. I am already on edge about the lawsuit, and now this from them.

Coupled with that, my friends tell me i’m crazy if i choose to settle out of court with these idiots because then, i really will look weak.

Father please help me and guide me. Please don’t let these people prevail.
