Prayer to Break Curses

Hi Catholic Answers,

There is a witch (Pamela) casting black magic spells against me. She worships Satan and is aligned with the Devil. She does not like me because I believe in God. Can you please pray that she is removed from my life completely and that her spells, hexes, curses are removed and have no effect from my career, health, and the other aspects of my life?
 
Spells, hexes, and curses do not exist in the real world. I would suggest just ignoring this person, unless you’re being constantly harassed, then get a restraining order.
 
Here is an exorcism prayer approved by Pope Leo XIII for laymen to recite privately. Her curses will only affect you if God wills it, but the more you pray the more you are protected.

Thank you. I appreciate it. Do you know why God would allow the curses to have an effect ?

I suppose it’s for the same reason that He allows demons to tempt us, demonic attacks can be used by Him for our benefit and sanctification. Here’s what Fr. Jose Fortea, an exorcist in Spain, says about it:
The first thing that has to be said is that whoever does the curse—as well as the person who may have asked for the curse to be done—will be the first ones affected by the demonic. Without a doubt, they suffer some type of demonic influence, possession, or sickness. The evil they wish on another will come back to them. A demon is never invoked in vain. But is a curse effective against the person to whom it is directed? This depends on the will of God. That is to say, it is the same as with accidents, illnesses, or misfortunes. During our time on earth, God allows us to experience both good and evil because this life is a period of trial, of purification. Of course, the person who prays and lives in God’s grace is protected. The more one prays and lives a spiritual life, the more one is protected.

Prayer For Help Against Spiritual Enemies

How did she ever get into your life? If you have been dabbling in such things yourself, you must confess it, and keep away from such people and their meetings. Even going out of curiosity, or remaining in the area once a ritual begins, is at least a near occasion for sin. Now that you know what this woman does, accept NO invitations from her!

Remove yourself from HER life. Don’t worry about offending her, when she is offending your Lord and Savior! How is she finding about the state of your " career, health, and other aspects of your life"? If mutual acquaintances are telling her, they are no friends of yours!

Pray and spend time with people who are strong in their Christian faith. Read the Bible. Read other spiritual books, approved by the Church. Most of all, pray.

I’m sorry if I’m wrong, but I really don’t see how I can be…unless you’re relying too much on what other people say, or on dreams and visions. I think I answered you on another thread, and you seem to be a little too reliant on dreams. Don’t assume something is happening because you saw it in a dream, or someone told you.

I think that you will do much better once you separate yourself from this woman, and any "friends"or hers that tell you these things. Resist the Devil and HE will Flee from YOU!
