I don’t pray for animals.

I will, certainly, pray for you who is so anxious about your pet.

👍

I don’t pray for animals. They don’t have souls.

How very charitable of you ,Madame…took you two posts to make sure you added ‘I don’t pray for animals comment…they don’t have souls’ …How very un called for… 😦 God loves all his creation…animals and all… I’ll say an extra prayer for you, too.

My 10 year old chihuahua, Chewy, will be thinking about Minnie tonight. 🙂

God Bless!

Lisa,
Code:
I will pray for your little Chihuahua. I love dogs.
I have delivered about 150 women and 1 Yorkshire Terrier…usually in the middle of the night.
Code:
May I suggest you put her in a birthing box...reason being, when you wake up in the middle of the night dazed and confused there is a very likely chance you will step on one of the newborns....happens alot.

Also, place some thread and scissors nearby so that you can quickly tie off the umbilical cords and cut them. Moreover, be sure to keep the mother from eating the umbilical cords with remnants of thread on them. Many times mother dogs will mistake umbilical cords for their own and bite into the newborns,

Keep the male dog (father) completely away from the mother dog and newborns or there could be a fight between mother dog and father dog as the mother quickly gets her protective instincts and will immediately fight.

I also recommend you not let the mother dog wander off under a bed which they sometimes do....where they could also have another baby and you would not find it.....

I have raised 5 Yorkies for about 15 years and 4 Labradors for 4 years and know alot about dogs and their habits. They will bring you joy especially if you let them bond closely with their mother. Bring the father dog in slowly after the babies have fed and the mother is more quiet. But be careful to keep them at a safe distance from each other's mouths.
Best of success…I will pray for her,
JesseJr.

OOPS–that would be puppies 🙂

I, too, love animals, especially dogs and have a hard time thinking they are not human!!

Hi Lisa4Catholics, I just said a wee prayer for Minnie, that she and her babies will be safe in the birthing process. I look forward to seeing any photos you capture of her and pups! I bet they’re darling! Many blessings,

Geraldine

Baby puppies:) I pray at abortion mills every week, I am not a PETA member;) But I do talk to Minnie and ask her every day are you going to have babies? The tail wags I melt and we go about our business.I get tickled here sometimes, because they" will have a thread will animals be in heaven"?People, get offended by the very question. It isn’t contrary to scripture and God thought enough to make them, they don’t sin, they may not have a soul, but God is God and he could put them in heaven if he wants.I like to think like a child about it and to children it would be silly to get angry about animals in heaven.Sometimes in our theological sophistication we forget that Amighty God made everything and made it good and if the lion will lay next to the lamb, and fido comes by to chat, you will still be in heaven with God and you won’t be jealous of Gods goodness.God Bless
