Please pray for the repose of the soul of my friend, Jane, and for her husband and their families and friends in this challenging time.

She passed away peacefully this past week after years of health and other challenges.

She and her husband were college classmates of my wife and myself, and dear friends all the years since. In fact, their wedding is what started us dating, and eventually led to the altar for us. After two decades or more of her friendship, her passing leaves a hole in our circle that we’re only just beginning to contemplate.

Lord please have mercy on the soul of Jane who died recently. Please give strength and comfort to her husband and all family and friends in their sorrow and loss.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
