Prayers for a friend

Hi everyone…

As we approach this season of joy and happiness, I’m asking that you please remember my friend, Ben in your prayers. He found out that he has to have his aeorta replaced AGAIN. It’s only been 5 years since his last surgery.

He’s meeting with the surgeons on Christmas Eve and has his MRI scheduled for Friday.

He entire family lives in New Mexico and he only has a few friends here. I’ve told him that I’ll be at the hospital when he has the surgery, which will take about 12 hours. He also mentioned that there is the possibility that he may not make it.

I am sad to hear your friend Ben has such a serious and worrying ailment and requires such major surgery, along with all the uncertainly regarding a suitable hospital.

Tell Ben we’ll be praying for him during our Christmas Masses. I imagine he is in much discomfort and some anxiety. God’s kindest blessings to him.

And God bless you for being a good and kind friend, supporting, and asking prayer for him.

Ben will be especially mentioned in my prayer request for a special intention at our adoration tomorrow. Prayer for healing and peace. Amen
 
I do hope that Ben’s MRI didn’t show results as bad as was feard. Please God his surgery will be successful.

Ben had his appointments and does have to have surgery.

The surgery is scheduled for the 21st. It will take about 12 hours. He’ll be out of work 6-8 weeks, maybe longer, we’ll have to wait and see…

I pray for peace and God’s will. Is he ready? Is he willing to pray and have peace before the operation as it sounds like a serious one and could be a last moments in his life? I will pray at Mass tomorrow at 7:30 A. Prayers:)
 
Hi all…

Just a note to say that Ben came through his surgery with flying colors. It was a shorter surgery than they thought it was going to be. He should be off the ventilator sometime today and then moved into his own room.
