Hello everyone. I stumbled upon some pretty tragic news today.
As a Pittsburgh Penguins fan, I regularly visit a site called the Pensblog, where I and fellow fans talk about the Pens and the NHL in general.
As I visited the site today, the latest entry on the blog was about a fellow Pensblogger named Matt Moran. Matt was only in his 20s. He had served in the Army and had recently come home from his most recent tour of duty.
On Saturday night, Matt took his own life. This news wasn’t discovered until the next day, and only today was made aware to all of us on Pensblog.
I didn’t know Matt personally, but I still feel saddened by his loss. Anyone who serves this country I am very respectful of and grateful for, and to hear that someone took their own life always is very troubling for me.
I thought that I would ask that you pray for Matt, his family, and his friends.
