Prayers for a sorrowing mother and family

Please pray for a CAF member who has suffered the loss of her son David, who was tragically killed recently. He was shot by a corrupt policeman in his own backyard. (The matter is under investigation by the FBI). Pray also for his wife and four children, that they may be comforted in their loss.

Mother Mary, I lift up to you the wife and children, friends, loved ones, colleagues, and acquaintances of this man. Please comfort them in their sorrow. You experienced intense sorrow at the death of your son. Be their strength and their guide. Amen.

I prayed the sorrowful rosary for Desertsister and her family last night. I am so sorry to hear this news. I will continue to pray for DS, her daughter-in-law and grandsons. What a bitter sorrow to have to bear. :signofcross:

Prayers going out to you our Desertsister and may you find comfort in knowing that friends are praying for you and for the soul of your beloved son. I am deeply saddened to hear this news. May your family have peace and consolation and may our sweet Mother watch over you and take care of you. May God grant him entrance into His heavenly Kingdom. May he rest in the arms of Jesus and enjoy company with all the saints and angels.
