I am writing today after my 9th day of saying this prayer. I am feeling so overwhelmed with so many mixed emotions. I went through a broken heart of my husband of 20 plus years, that had cheated on me repeatedly and while we were still married had 2 children with the same woman. I stayed with him with the first child he had with this woman and then I couldn’t do it anymore. I did everything for him and to keep him. But I’m the long run I did wrong by myself and allowed him to take advantage of my heart and kindness. Along the way after we split I met a friend and we became closer. I started to have feelings for him and I wasn’t patient enough and of course have a hard time trusting so I drove him away. Of course most was my fault but he works a lot. Just a difficult situation. I can’t stop thinking of him and our conversations, our laughs. I just wish I had a chance to talk to him to make things right or just to stay friends and not have awkwardness between us. No one knew about us besides us. I liked it that way. I just hope and pray one day he can look at me with kind eyes and not be upset with me.
Please pray for my broken heart to mend. I have been praying and praying just so he could give me one more chance to talk and be friends again. That’s all I ask for. He’s friends of the family so I just want things to be normal again. My heart aches for people, I love everyone and give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I love to help people and my heart just wants more. I opened my eyes with him and he made me believe in myself like I haven’t in years due to my marriage being destructive for 5 years.
I can say that this prayer has helped me cope with my broken heart. I love to read everyone’s story and know I am not alone. I hope everyone gets their prayers answered. Sometimes our prayers are answered in a different way but they will be answered. Thank you St. Dwynwen:pray:t2:❤️

Oh Blessed Saint Dwynwen, you who knew pain and peace, division and reconciliation. You have promised to aid lovers and you watch over those whose hearts have been broken. As you received 3 boons from an Angel, intercede for me to receive 3 blessings to obtain my heart’s desire

or if that’s not Gods will, a speedy healing from my pain your guidance and assistance that I may find love with the right person at the right time and in the way, and an unshakeable faith in the boundless kindness and wisdom of God and this I ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord

Prayer to Our Lady of Mental Peace

O Lady of Mental Peace,

Mother of Tranquility

and Mother of Hope,

look upon Sunmoon2020 in this time

of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart

to know that God’s Love

for her is unchanging and

unchangeable, and, that

true human love can only

begin and grow by touching

His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -

which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
And, help her to bring this

same Peace into the lives

of others.

You are certainly not alone with those issues… I pray that our Heavenly Father provides you a boost of guidance, wisdom, and many other blessings.

I also feel the same thing here… Let’s ask the intercession of St. Dwyn, St. Valentine, and of course, the Blessed Mother. I’ll keep praying for you, that God may guide you in all decisions and provide a good relationship for both of you.
