I talked to a dear friend today who lives in New Jersey and works on a bus at a school for kids with behavior problems. She is a devout Catholic and has had the same children for three years now. Her job is to sit on the bus to and from school because these kids are behavioral problems. Most have oppositional defiant disorder. It is a very stressful job.
She has asked me to pray for her kids on this bus. The school is failing in helping these kids. Their parents are failing them as well. One kid, named Tyler, can mouth off profanity for 45 minutes and talks about sex. He is only 9 yr. old. I asked my friend, why these kids are not better, for every year they get worse. She agreed that they are worse and unloved. She fears for her life at times for these kids are very violent and talk about guns alot. These will be the criminal of the future since they are being treated for their mental illness. She told me that when a kid acts up in school or to a teacher, they have this man that looks like a body builder come in and grab the kid and put a straight jacket in a room all by themselves. This is not going to help them. They do not get counseling at the school or by their parents.
I know three names and these kids have no one to teach them that Jesus loves them. There own family is afraid of them. Some are young enough to still get help. Let us pray for these kids and all kids in this situation. The names I have are Johnny, Tyler and Jolisa. Jolisa is a teen and very dangerous already.
