One of my young colleagues found she had cancer when she returned from her honeymoon about two years ago. After serious surgery and a year of radiation- and chemo-therapy she was clear of any cancer. She has just relapsed and is undergoing treatment. Please offer your prayers for her and her husband.

She will be in my prayers through the intercession of St Peregrine for her healing.***
May St Joseph assist her husband in this trial.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen

God bless you +

Dear Lord, Jesus,
There is a young colleague of dawid’s who has been stricken again with cancer. If it be your will, please cure her. If it not be your will, take this child to live joyfully in your close presence. For You, together with the Heavenly Father, and the Holy Spirit, in the mystery of the Holy Trinity, are the creator of life, here on this earth. Please allow this difficult time to enlighten all to your mercy and grace and love.
Please comfort and be with this ill person and all of the young colleague’s friends and family. Help them in their support of her. Help them give her strength. Help them show her Your ways, Your love, Your care, Your happiness, Your hope. Lord, it is truly only through your name that all things can be accomplished and all can be brought into union with you, that I can even approach and ask you these requests. Amen

Heavenly Father, Look with eyes of mercy and comfort upon this couple and send them the physical healing we all pray for.

With my prayers for her, her family and her caregivers - Joe.

Jesus I ask Your merciful love and healing for this young woman. Please guide her treatment and management of her life and illness in whatever ways promote her healing. Please give courage and peace to this young couple. Thank You, Jesus

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Mary, Mother of Jesus, our savior, please, intercede for this young woman. Please ask that she be healed. Please ask that our Lord, God would guide the doctor’s hands and mind to save her life here on earth. Comfort these children of yours–the whole family-- in their time of anguish and pain. Help them never lose sight of God and have hope and trust that God’s will and plan for them has been carefully designed for them. Thank you Mother Mary, our world’s precious gift.

Three weeks ago, Louise completed her fortnight of chemotherapy.

Her scan shows that the therapy had no effect, although the cancer did not spread further.

She is waiting for the next round of chemotherapy remaining very positive and dilligently working on her Master’s thesis.

Please continue your prayers for Louise.

Prayer for the Sick
Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight, and give your angels charge over those who sleep.

Tend your sick ones, O Lord Christ.
Rest your weary ones.
Bless your dying ones.
Soothe your suffering ones.
Pity your afflicted ones.
Shield your joyous ones.
And for all your love’s sake. Amen.

Saint Augustine

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you.

For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.
(Louise)

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.
Amen.
