A while back, I was directed by a prayer intention on this forum to the following website:

www.ethanpowell.com

to pray for a baby at St. Judes with leukemia. Well, I’ve followed his progress on and off ever since. More off lately. Anyway, for some reason, I checked his website today (after a very long period of not having checked), and I found that his condition is deteriorating quickly right now. He really needs our prayers - Please pray for him!

Dear Lord, please heal Ethan. Amen.

Father, we come to you with little Ethan.
I, your humble servant offer up my own
suffering this week to be taken in replacement of his.
We ask you to heal him completely.
Send him and his family your special angel
from heaven. Send down your Holy Spirit
to guard, protect, comfort, and defend him.
Lord have Mercy,
Christ have Mercy!
We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ!
WE TRUST IN YOU JESUS!

Most holy Apostle St.Jude, I place Ethan and all children that are suffering in your care at this difficult time. Pray for Ethan and all suffering children , help them know that they need not face their troubles alone. Please join them in their need, asking God to send them consolaton in their sorrow, courage in their fear, and healing in the midst of their sufering. Ask our loving God to fill them with the grace to accept whatever may lie ahead for them and their loved ones, and to strengthen their faith in God’s healing power. Thank you St.Jude, for the promise of hope you hold out to all who believe, and inspire them to give this gift of hope to others as it has been given to them. Amen
