Prayers for Financial Problems

To make a long, messy story short: I’ve been through two bankruptcies. One of my creditors is threatening to garnish my wages. This is my fault since I haven’t been in touch with him. I’ve managed to get ahead on my monthly bills but there are a number of things in collections and the water (of debt) is rising. I would like to avoid bankruptcy if at all possible. I currently own a townhouse condominium and I’m not sure if I would lose it if I had to file chapter 7.

I also have a pet I love dearly. Apartments are tougher on the pet issue in recent years, and I don’t want to lose my cat.

You stated that you own your townhouse, i believe they can not take your home.

i will pray for you, may God bless you and help you out of this struggle. i will pray for your cat as well.

You have given us grace at this time to offer You a common prayer together and have promised that when two or three are gathered together in Your name, that You will grant their requests; fulfill, Lord, the prayers of Your servants, which are for our welfare, grant us the knowledge of Your truth in this world and life everlasting in the world to come. Thanks be to God!!!

The creditor wanting to garnish my wages has been made aware of my financial situation and will step back, trusting I will contact him when I’m back on my feet!

On a more serious note, my employer announced this week that they are shutting down the facility where I work. Our department may be needed for another 6 months, so technically my co-workers and myself have work until January. We’ll receive 60 days notice and severance pay.
