Prayers for Heat Wave Victims

Here in Tennessee and other areas of the South we are experiencing a terrible heat wave and several people have died. (See article here)

Please pray for these victims and their families and also that we have a break from this heat soon. School has started back with kids on hot buses, workers who have to be in the heat all day, and farmers who’s crops are dying by the fields full are all being affected.

Please keep us in your prayers!
 
Same for here in north Alabama. It’s soooooooo hot and miserable and dry and un-ending. Ugh.

Yet here I sit in an air conditioned house.

I will pray for those who are suffering. Thanks for posting this thread.

Lord of the Powers, have mercy on us.
 
It’s so hot here in Kentucky. Yesterday it was 105. Farmers are selling their cattle - no pasture to feed them and we are in danger of going on water restrictions. I’ve been praying for rain, but I’d sure appreciate prayers from all of you all as well.

I’ll be praying for you and for Little Mary in Alabama too. Seems like all of the south is having this horrible heat wave!!

I think it is supposed to get up to 106 today here in West TN and it will feel like 112 from what I understand. And the ground of course is dry as a bone.

Many lives are being affected by the heat here in the South. Our business is suffering to the point of being out of business. It will reach 104 again today in Alabama. God help us and send us the much needed rain and cloud cover to help ease the heat.
