Prayers for inactive Catholics?

Hi all!

Our parish has a program to bring Catholics Home however we are looking for a good prayer to start now for the whole parish to pray and for parishioners to put names in for us to pray over. Does anyone use a prayer at their parish for inactive Catholics? Would you be willing to share?

Also I would be most interested in any ideas/programs that your parish has for inactive Catholics to bring them home.

For “reverts”, it’s excellent to start with the traditional prayers we all learned growing up, which would be familiar to most people… the Our Father, Hail Mary, Angel of God my Guardian Dear, etc…

I just want to say, THANK YOU! I truly believe that it was through the prayers of the faithful of the Catholic Church who were praying for fallen away Catholics that I returned Home a year ago on February 6, 2013.

I would suggest using the Divine Chaplet.

And one prayer in particular from the Divine Chaplet:
“Blood and water from the side of Christ as a font of mercy for us, we trust in you.”
