I am requesting prayers for my marriage and my husband. Last year, I quit my job. The work was good but the supervisor was not. As this had been an issue for 2-3 years (I worked for the company 15+ years), my husband was well aware of the situation. I had threatened to walk out on more than one occasion. I had made a decision to quit the job without having another job to go to. Finances would be a bit snug but do-able and that I really needed to do some work getting the house cleaned and de-cluttered and get my head back on straight before going back to work. I had explained this to my husband and he seemed to accept it until about a week after I had left the job. I’m not sure which has been worse, my former job or the reaction/actions of my husband.

My husband tells me on a regular basis that I ‘bailed’ on him and ruined our family. We have one son who’s 24 and still in school. I have been so upset all the time that I have no confidence to go out and find another job. I am going to a good Catholic psycologist to help me get through all of this. At this point, I’m not too sure that me getting another job will even help.
 
Prayers said that with the help of the counselor you can work out the issues between you and your husband.

Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (Wendy1989 and her husband), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you.
