Prayers for me against Lust

Since becoming a Catholic this year this area of my life has got a lot better,however,I still have moments where I struggle with the sin of Lust,Porn,and Masturbation. In that order ,too. I am so ashamed but at the same time I know that voicing my sins in the Light can help me.

Please Pray for me

Try an act of mortification once a week by fasting for a while. Also keep an image of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus on your PC and see if you ever can feel comfortable again looking at any Internet porn. 😉

Tim, I’m praying for you.
Those are very tough temptations.

If I have a bad though I close my eyes and picture Jesus on the Cross and I say to myself, “Get those thoughts out of your mind or don’t even look or I have no right to do that.”

Be Strong - find a scripture verse to repeat to yourself over and over if you find yourself tempted.

Frequent recourse to Confession is an excellent defense in times of temptation, and giving into temptation…
