My Dear CAF brothers and sisters: Once again, I ask you to pray for my dear friend Nancy, who is suffering from debilitating headaches. She is under a doctor’s care, but sometimes the medications don’t work.

Prayer to St. Teresa of Ávila, Patron Saint of Headache Sufferers

Dear wonderful Saint Teresa,
model of fidelity to vows,
you gladly carried a heavy cross
following in the steps of Christ,
Who chose to be crucified for us.
You realized that God,
like a merciful Father,
chastises those Whom He loves,
which to the worldly seems foolish, indeed.
Grant to all headache sufferers
relief from their great pains,
if this is in accordance with God’s Divine Will.

Praying for Nancy and that they will find a way to relieve tthe migraines she suffers.
 
Praying the St. Teresa of Avila prayer for headache suffered for Nancy, as well as this prayer to the Angels, especially St. Raphael:

Heavenly King, You have given us archangels
to assist us during our pilgrimage on earth.
Saint Michael is our protector;
I ask him to come to my aid,
fight for all my loved ones,
and protect us from danger.
Saint Gabriel is a messenger of the Good News;
I ask him to help me
clearly hear Your voice
and to teach me the truth.
Saint Raphael is the healing angel;
I ask him to take my need for healing
and that of everyone I know,
lift it up to Your throne of grace
and deliver back to us the gift of recovery.
Help us, O Lord,
to realize more fully the reality of the archangels
and their desire to serve us.

Holy angels,
pray for us.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal wild thing. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into wild thing’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Road Ahead
"My Lord God, I have no idea where I am going.
I do not see the road ahead of me.
I cannot know for certain where it will end.
Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think I am following your will does not mean that I am actually doing so.
But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you.
And I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing.
