Prayers For My Brother

Thank you to all for the prayers. My brother had a tough fight and made it through! He’s now in a rehab facility to get his strength back. He’s working hard to get back on his feet. This gave him a scare and he vows never to smoke again. I pray that God gives him the strength to forget about smoking once he goes back home. He is still on oxygen because his oxygen levels fall without it. Even if he goes home to live on this oxygen forever, I’m thankful that God let him stay here with us.

Eternal God , in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
