Prayers for my friend who just lost a cat

They’re not religious. I ask that you pray with me in comforting them without the known truths, so that they may have peace.
 
I pray that God sends his Holy Spirit to comfort them in the loss of their precious friend the cat. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

(Presumably they are not reading this thread, and it’s kind of hard for me to pray without invoking God, so hopefully the prayer is okay.)
 
Please invoke God, but they do not know the truths, I ask you pray that they may have peace without them and maybe come to the truth eventually.
