Prayers for My Husband

I seem to be asking a lot of prayers lately. Which I am thankful for all of you. However, this one is also very important.

My husband is really really really struggling with his current job. He works in sales and last year he took this position in the very remote NW section of the country. I have said that you can only squeeze so much juice from a lemon and he has really tried. The problem is that is goal is set pretty high all things considering his territory. The other problem is that the company he works for does not have a decent product line for small firms.

Actually the numbers reflect for small firms in remote territories (other than his) are struggling and the new VP is NOT pleased.

However the new VP does not want to make changes until after this quarter and in the mean time the morale is WAY down my husband is depressed because he is doing everything he can to meet his goal. Everyone is frustrated and worried about their jobs.

I feel like I am praying for a miracle here. For one I want to pray that my husband gets out of this depressed mode and secondly to meet his numbers or get transferred out to a different department. He is good at what he does. I do not think that anyone would have done better than he all things considering.

You have my prayers. Please pray for my dh who can only get seasonal work even though he has a B. A. in Management of Information Systems and has nearly completed his M. S. in the same field. In a word, it’s tough all over. So, I can sympathize with your situation. 😉

He is in my prayers. A good bible verse for your husband is Galatians 6:9, Let us not grow tired in doing good, for in due time we shall reap a harvest, if we do not give up.

Thank you all who have been praying. This morning my husband has spoken with his boss. They are working together to come up with a plan so he can meet his goals. This is the first time since my husband has taken this position that his boss is working with him. However the plan has to be approved by the VP, so I am asking that we continue praying for my husband. In addition I would like to say Thank You Lord, for helping my family through this very difficult time. I also pray for others who are in a similar situation regarding employment or lack of it.

I will definately pray for your DH. I know exactly how hard it is when your husband is doing his best at a job and not apreciated for it. My DH is a school teacher and has been harrassed for the last 4 years because he would not change a grade for a student and other things that would compromise his moral ethics. He is now trying to get on at the Community colege near us, which would be a total blessing for us in so many ways. Just wanted to let you know that you werent alone in your situation and that your husband and you will be in my prayers.
