Prayers for my sister

Please pray for my sister Lee. She’s gone through some terrible things and has fallen away from the faith.

I have two sisters who stepped away from the faith as well. I understand. At first, it bothered me so much I lost sleep and prayed constantly. It has been now 10 years for one and 15 years for the other. I still have hope that they will return to the Faith. Don’t stop praying and remember it is all in the Lord’s hands. I will keep her in my prayers.

This story may give you some hope… my stepmother whom I love dearly is a cradle Catholic but has not been practicing for a very long time. At my rehearsal for my wedding 3 weeks ago my priest offered confession afterwards, and she decided to go for the first time in 35 years… it came out of nowhere but she shared how wonderful she felt afterwards… even after so many years there IS hope!!

Thank you so much for that testimony. If I could ask everyone who has responded to my request for prayers to pray for a particular intention for tomorrow, Friday. Marissa and Luis will be seeing their counselor tomorrow and these are Forensic Psychologist and they have the power to tell the judge, who ordered these counseling sessions, to stop all visitation with the father until he gets counseling himself. My niece, Marissa, got into the car today with her mother after school and started to cry. My sister asked what was wrong and she said she was scared. Tomorrow is the last day of school and she knows that she has to go to her father’s two weeks at a time in the summer. She told my sister that she was threatened by her dad’s wife. She was told not to tell anyone either or else. This woman has done this before. Marissa also told her mother that they are responsible to make their own breakfast and lunch and sometimes dinner if her dad goes out to dinner with his wife. The last time she was two weeks at her dad, she lost about 5 pounds and didn’t sleep well at all. She cried everyday for her mother. That is another thing she is afraid of and that is that they are not allowed to cry at their dad’s and are not even any form of affection until they stop. Please if I could ask specifically for everyone to pray that the Holy Spirit will help Marissa (10) remember all that her dad and his wife have done to her and her brother.

I pray that she moves one step closer to His throne with each step through life.
 
I, too, know the feeling as I have 2 brothers that are in the same boat…maybe they know each other 😛 ?

I will be praying.
