As of today, January 24, 2020, Philadelphia has had 34 homicides. That is a 70% increase over this date in 2018. Our cities need our prayers. Please remember Philadelphia, Chicago, L.A., and all of our major cities in your prayers. This senseless violence needs to stop.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven.

And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.

add to the list.

Praying for the violence to end in our cities.
 
What an excellent prayer … I will remember this prayer often.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

Wrap all and each of these your people in your love.

and are burdened and I will give you rest.”

We pray for an end to violence and senseless death.

Grant us this, peaceful God.

Under your command and by God’s power, may
