Prayers for our little daughter

Lord, please guide the hands of the orthopaedic specialist, and give him/her the knowledge to do the right thing. In Jesus name we pray.

P.S. Lord, please give this little girl a big hug. 🙂
 
Hi all!

Thank you again for your prayers. 🙂

We went to see the specialist. She has “trigger finger” in her thumb - its a ligament/tendon issue. Its congenital at her age (she isnt doing any repetitive acts like playing piano, etc. so thats out and at this age they say it is congential) and that she has to have…deep breath…surgery.

Now it doesnt have to be anytime soon, we can wait a bit with it - and I think we might since as she gets a bit older (closer to 2) it might be safer with the anesthesia, etc.

The operation is only 15 minutes, but you know…its scary to think that they will put her out. Yikes. Just scary.

So first off - prayers of thanksgiving that it isnt anything life threatening or really scary. 🙂

Next, please keep praying that we will make a right decision as to when and if to do the surgery, etc.

Thank you so much. I had a peace this time around that I usually dont have during stressful times. I will attribute it to the fact that so many were praying for us. :)))

Father, always Your will be done, but we pray that You heal this little girl’s hand so she won’t require surgery. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

I’m so pleased that this is a very treatable condition. I’m mom to two young adult daughters and was an absolute wreck any time they had an ache or pain; I am a big reader and knew enough to make me dangerous to my own mental health and everyone else’s good mood 🙂

I know that you will worry about the surgery, but plenty of us have been in your shoes with regard to their children’s health and understand your anxiety. We’ll be praying.

It has been my experience as a nurse… The younger the surgery… the quicker they get over it… and won’t have bad memories about it… I had 7 surgeries by the time I was 12.

I’ll pray for her now… and THANK GOD that it is such a simple thing after all. Thank him because he provided us with doctors that can treat this type of ailment.
